A former Indianapolis police officer who set a string of apartment fires won't serve time in jail. The reason he's not going to jail? Judge Grant Hawkins expressed concern about Russell's safety if he sentenced him to prison. So remember, if you want to be a criminal, become a cop. That way you can escape prison.
