Thanks to Emily Miller she writes this wonderful piece of gold regarding those who would disarm us.
Mr. Quander thinks victimhood is preferable to self-defense. “The problem is, if you are armed, it escalates the situation,” Mr. Quander told residents. “It is much better, in my opinion, to be scared, to be frightened, and even if you have to be, to be injured, but to walk away and survive. You’ll heal, and you can replace whatever was taken away.”
How nice to force victimhood on others. You should just be murdered because all the guy wants to do is kill you? You should just lie back and take being raped because it’s better than the alternative. What the hell is wrong in your mind!?
In the words of the little girl during the clip in Demolition Man*.
No one has any right to force victimhood on anyone. Anyone who does is nothing more than a lazy tyrant that is unwilling to do the dirty work to instill fear in their subjects themselves.
*Yes he’s a lady because he obviously has no balls and doesn’t think anyone else should either.
Barron is the owner, editor, and principal author at The Minuteman, a competitive shooter, and staff member for Boomershoot. Even in his free time he’s merging his love and knowledge of computers and technology with his love of firearms.
He has a BS in electrical engineering from Washington State University. Immediately after college he went into work on embedded software and hardware for use in critical infrastructure. This included cryptographic communications equipment as well as command and control devices that were using that communications equipment. Since then he’s worked on just about everything ranging from toys, phones, other critical infrastructure, and even desktop applications. Doing everything from hardware system design, to software architecture, to actually writing software that makes your athletic band do its thing.
