I have added a new toy to my toy pile now. I have a bunch of hobbies and this happens to be for one of the others that doesn’t involved high speeds, concussive forces, and projectile motion. So, what’s the new toy I hear you ask. Well here’s a picture! That is an Icom IC706 Mark II G and I have the mobile kit to go with it. It out performs the Yaesu 857D and cost me 300 bucks less. This radio though new isn’t cheap. I’m sure the previous owner who went SK will be glad it found a good home. Overall I’m a big Yaesu fan but I’ll take what I can get and it works.
