Fast and Furious, Root Cause Analysis
Submitted by Barron Barnett on Sat, 10/22/2011 - 13:10Currently Eric Holder is screaming that the cause of guns going into Mexico was because of a "lack of gun control." There's one problem with that though, it is totally false. Not only is that statement blatantly false but given the evidence gun control is what allowed those guns to walk to Mexico. While it may seem humorous and a joke, the fact is it's true.
I have largely been silent on Fast and Furious for one major reason. There are a lot of other people covering it much better and more in depth than I possibly could.
To start off for those who may be familiar with the term, root cause analysis is something used in engineering to identify problems to come up with solutions that don’t just hide the problem. Ultimately proper root cause analysis should trace the problem to a point where you can turn the issue on and off like a light switch. Now we're going to trace back through the events and find the point where we can turn this issue that would turn this problem on and off.

New Service Promotes Bigotry
Submitted by Barron Barnett on Thu, 07/21/2011 - 17:15It appears that there is a new service out there catering to doing online background checks of potential employees. Overall I don’t have much of a problem with this, a private company certainly has a right to use any information that it feels would affect performance in the workplace. This new middleware company does the work to keep the employer from seeing information that could lead to other biases which are currently legislated against. For example they make sure to strip off marital status, sexual orientation, religious views, etc. What did catch my attention however was the following statement from the companies CEO.
What’s wrong with that? If the individual has broken no laws what is the issue. If you dig through my website you will find many photos of firearms. Numerous pictures of explosives going off. As well as numerous articles involving self-defense, which is a violent response against someone doing violence against you.
There’s that set of words, assault rifle. Obviously this man is a puritan who is projecting his belief system on others and judging them based upon his world view. There is nothing on my site which promotes illegal activity. I have gone through extra effort to make sure I am legal and as a result have had myself placed on numerous government lists. Why sir are you attempting to limit the employment of gun owners who are proud of their stance on gun rights? I might advise Mr. Drucker to be quite careful since I’m sure if someone finds out that their ownership of firearms caused a negative report from his company and thusly resulted in missed employment opportunities, his company now carries the liability for the discriminatory action. It might be quite difficult to prove, but eventually given enough people it can happen.

Caught in Another Lie
Submitted by Barron Barnett on Wed, 05/18/2011 - 19:43CSGV had the twitter account suspended today after a complaint was filed by Linoge. They then proceed to play the victim card saying that they were falsely accused.
The problem is Linoge was not false in his statement and Twitter made the final statement in disabling their account. They felt that the information and evidence provided by Linoge violated twitter’s terms of service and in fact showed their behavior as harassment. Not only that, but Linoge did not ask for the account to be suspended, but the offending tweets removed. Twitter disabled their account after reviewing the situation. This is why you don’t play childish games and act like an adult.
On a side note, I find Jason Tippitt’s comment is interesting since they suffer from Peterson syndrome while we argue facts and logic. I call out Jason’s statement since the gun grabbers have admitted that lower overall violent crime rates are NOT their goal. They have an artificial goal of lowering “gun crime”, what actually happens is that overall violent crime rates increase in areas of heavy gun control, while it’s not “gun crime” so it fulfills their artificial goal.
Gun rights activists are not pro-murder and to claim such is to ignore your own volition in supporting the Criminal Occupational Hazard Reduction Organizations. I did my own research comparing the Brady Scores to the actual 2009 FBI crime statistics. The FACTS state that there is absolutely no correlation between heavy gun control and a decrease in violent crime. In fact of the 20 states with the lowest per capita violent crime rate, only 3 have a score above 20.
Mr. Tippitt you wish to disarm law abiding Americans, and support and organization who has been harassing, threatening, and intimidating people who disagree with their position. You obviously have not done much research on the topic otherwise you wouldn’t make such a horrible statement without presenting facts and logic to back up your incorrect and down right offensive statement.

Democrats and Race
Submitted by Barron Barnett on Thu, 05/12/2011 - 03:00Bob Parks did a wonderful article recently on the history of the Democrat part and detangling their web of lies.
This is the kind of BS spewed by Democrats on a daily basis, and unfortunately the media and other so-called watchdogs are so apparently ignorant of American history, Democrats continue to LIE through their teeth to their constituents, and via academia, to our kids. Despite the truth being out there for years, it’s probably not going to explode until some big shot news anchor gives us an “explosive expose” bringing us all those facts first, so he/she can proudly receive a Pulitzer…
He proceeds to cite examples of how the democrats have been bigoted since 1858 all the way up to the present. Go read the whole thing, I applaud him for his effort and work since those are facts that are all to often ignored.

Sexist Pig
Submitted by Janelle Barnett on Wed, 04/20/2011 - 23:02After reading the article by Eric Heyl I have come to the conclusion that he has never been in the company of a real woman. His only exposure to women are from magazines with models airbrushed to perfection.
I am the proud owner of a snubbie revolver for my own personal protection.
The industry is unlikely to successfully tap that market until it conquers the pesky preconceived notions that likely turn off many females to the idea of gun ownership. Women likely won't consider packing pistols if they are concerned that:
Note: my revolver was a wedding gift, given to me by my husband.
-- Spending several hundred dollars on a serviceable handgun might leave them without enough money to get the full treatment at that next visit to the day spa.
I have no problem buying a pistol and I actually have my eye on a Sig P226. Why would I go to a spa and pay a ridiculous amount of money for something I can do in the comfort of my own home for much less and I could host a “spa” party and just have a grand ol’ time with friends?
-- Carrying a gun in a small purse would leave less room for more important items, such as lipstick or compact.
I have a very cute backpack style purse that is specially designed to carry a pistol and allow room for anything else I need. I find self defense much more important than items of vanity.
-- The baggy clothing required to successfully conceal most holsters would make them appear frumpy.
There are actually concealable holsters on the market for women so baggy clothing isn’t necessary. That is also one of the points of carrying a conceal carry purse.
-- Gunpowder residue might stain the new Karen Scott blouse they just bought at Macy's.
When it comes to self defense, if I have to shoot my gun, I could care less what happens to the clothes I am wearing. Besides, fabric is washable and replaceable, I cannot replace myself or wash away the after effects of an attack on myself if I am completely defenseless.
-- The gunpowder smell when the weapon is fired could totally overwhelm the Chanel they're wearing.
In my profession, wearing perfume is not recommended as you never know if a client/patient/resident is sensitive to fragrances. I would rather be unscathed than to care a flying f*** about whether my perfume is being overwhelmed by gunpowder. Besides, I like to go to CD’s Smokepit and I always have the smell of yummy BBQ lingering on my person by the time I leave.
Not only that but some men find the smell of burnt gun powder arousing and attractive. Certainly not a man of such “high caliber” as Mr. Heyl, only sad lonely depraved men like my husband. Sad lonely men who get to partake in Dr. Joe’s cure all which I’m sure Mr. Heyl has never experienced.
-- Most firearm accessories come only in one boring color: black.
Who cares? As long as its functional. I prefer black to the pink that is currently on the market for women anyway. But there’s also blue, red, green, and you can have it painted however you like. It’s nail polish but for your gun.
-- Target practice earplugs simply aren't sexy.
Sexy is a relative term. There are men that find women very sexy when seen in shooting gear. Besides, some earplugs are not noticeable and as long as I still have hearing capabilities at the end of the day, I don’t care.
That’s also why god created suppressors.
Besides, if women can’t be sexy while carrying a firearm or holding one, explain this:
She so hawt, even I’d do her.

The spread of Peterson-Syndrome
Submitted by Barron Barnett on Wed, 04/13/2011 - 21:49This morning Sebastian posted a link to something the CSGV posted on their Facebook page bashing pro-gun bloggers including one who is a personal friend. Upon reading it when I got home they had updated to have a response to Sebastian’s response.
The Peterson-Syndrome is showing through. If we are going to take her argument at face value we must then ask, what about the opinions of people like Suzanna Hupp who had the tools and skills to end the violence brought before them but were disarmed.
Every argument they make is premised with the belief that every permit carrier is going to snap and go on a shooting rampage. They are often projecting their own feelings and emotions forgetting that a potentiality is not an actuality. They seem to think our goal is to see people shot and injured while ignoring the fact we are merely supporting the inalienable right of self-defense.
Joan Peterson shot herself in the foot and proved her mental defect when she stated the equivalent of the following:
It is better to have a higher overall crime rate for fewer crimes committed with a gun.
Joan Peterson wants more victims at the hands of criminals as long as they aren’t committed with a gun. On our side of the fence want people to not be forced by law to be victims.
- We want women to be able to defend themselves from rapists who would violate them.
- We want the elderly to be able to defend themselves from young thugs who would beat them to death to impress a girl.
- We want people to be able to defend themselves from criminals who would take their lives.
- We want people to have access to the most effective tools of self-defense.
Often this last point is portrayed as if we want to force everyone to carry a gun. The fact is though that couldn’t be further from the truth. We want people to be able to make the choice if they wish to be able to defend themselves.
If we allow Joan’s logic of being a victim of violence to be correct, like Sebastian I am a victim of cancer. My father passed away from pancreatic cancer when I was 19.
Just the same though I am also a victim of violence. My mother stopped the abuse of an elderly couple and arrested the situation when the thugs tried to threaten and intimidate her. How did she do this? She used a firearm, not a single shot was fired. The group of kids were arrested minutes later while trying to steal a car when the police arrived. People like Joan and the CSGV would prefer my mom had left the couple at the mercy of those thugs and been at their mercy herself.
My father and mother went to the movies when I was a baby. A group of four proceeded to be extremely rude, intimidated the staff, and were generally discourteous. My father went to talk to the manager about the men who were still causing problems after the movie was over. The men noticing what my father was doing proceeded to start harassing him. They were warned to move on and to leave. They continued to harass and physically intimidate my father until they placed themselves between my father and mother. At this time my dad withdrew his firearm holding it at his side, at no time was it pointed at anyone, he then directed the men to remove themselves from between him and my mother immediately. They complied and the police, who had already been called, arrived shortly thereafter. The city of Kent charged my father with “assault with a deadly weapon.” The jury found him not guilty with less than thirty minutes deliberation. As jurors were leaving, two jurors approached my father and his attorney and informed them that prior to this trial they disliked firearms and supported gun control. They then expressed that had they been in my fathers position they would have wanted a firearm, and due to the trial they were expanding their horizons. In this case the CSGV would prefer a father be outnumbered and possibly permanently injured to not return home to support and protect his children.
The bottom line is that ultimately each side of this debate supposedly wants the same thing, less violence. The problem is the anti-gun lobby only cares about “gun violence”. If rape, murder, and other violent crimes increased but a gun wasn’t used, they would still consider that a win. In our book crime is crime, no matter the tool used. It ends up that the firearm is the most effective tool for self-defense, anyone can learn to use a firearm and physical ability is not the deciding factor in use. God created men, Samuel Colt made them equal. People have even more right to make themselves NOT a victim than to be forced by law to be disarmed and become prey for predators.

1st Amendment Threatened…
Submitted by Janelle Barnett on Mon, 01/10/2011 - 14:56In lieu of the event that occurred in Arizona on Saturday, January 8th, Rep. Robert Brady wants to introduce legislation to “protect” congress.
Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress.
Watch the video, you will notice that, just like any other politician, he avoids answering the questions directed to him.
He is one of the many dancing in the blood of the victims who died and were injured.
Barron would have added this to his post had he been able to find the link.

Ridiculous firearm owners?
Submitted by Janelle Barnett on Thu, 06/10/2010 - 16:41Someone needs to get a clue and STFU. The very first picture is of one of the nicest couples I know. There is no problem with firearm ownership no matter a person's location, especially when it is in someone's own home. Personal defense is a God given right that cannot be taken away. Its obvious how left the Huffington Post truly is.

Taxing internet news
Submitted by Janelle Barnett on Tue, 06/08/2010 - 15:33Way to punish the innovative minds, tax them so big dumb, bloated companies don't have to move with the times. That'll make everything better.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is considering several ways to help the struggling newspaper industry, but Americans strongly reject several proposed taxes to keep privately-owned newspapers going.
Ohh, wait, it's unfair that the newspapers are struggling. We should just squelch what's new so what is outdated, but familiar, can continue on. Communism ringing any bells?
Seventy-one percent (71%) oppose the creation of a taxpayer-funded program that would hire and pay young reporters to work for newspapers around the country. Fourteen percent (14%) support such a program, while 15% are undecided.
Do I hear redistribution of wealth? A taxpayer-funded program that would give people money instead of them making it for themselves, is that what I'm hearing?

Helen Thomas retires
Submitted by Janelle Barnett on Mon, 06/07/2010 - 11:59Abruptly I might add. Though, it's probably a publicity stunt to appease the sheeple.
She has apologized, but is it truly heartfelt? You can't just say what she said and merely say "I'm sorry".
Thomas wrote on her website that "I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians."
This really is no surprise after her spoken remarks.
