SSCC Quincy

Via JayG comes this wonderful tale.

QUINCY, Mass. —The attorney for a Quincy police captain charged with domestic assault and battery against his estranged, pregnant wife said Capt. Michael J. Miller "blanket denies" the allegation.

According to the Patriot Ledger, Quincy defense attorney Jack McGlone also said Miller’s wife declined to press charges when she first contacted police in Plymouth, where she now lives.

Had that been anyone else on this earth they would have crucified him but this one’s “anointed” so we can’t have the law being used against our special people now can we.  I think Jay put it best:

Right, it wouldn’t have been an issue at all. Because the cops would have come to the house, taken him out at gunpoint, confiscated any weapons he had, and he would stand a very good chance of never seeing them again. Instead, he gets paid administrative leave and a pretty good chance of them dropping the charges.

Now, what about that Lautenberg Amendment? Granted, the Captain would have to be convicted, which at this point looks about as likely as an actual conservative ever getting elected to office again, but if he is convicted, he will have to give up his right to possess firearms forever. Going to be tough to be a cop that way, isn’t it?

I have no additional comments.

State Sponsored Criminal Michael J. Miller

Because when it comes to spousal abuse, cops aren’t a problem like everyone else.  (Except you know they really are more of a problem.)

SSCC California Highway Patrol

No officers have been fired and the acting chief had the following to say:

The public if they get stopped and simply comply with what they are asked to do, they have nothing to fear, nothing to fear at all.

Translation.  Follow orders blindly or suffer violence without cause.  Think about that, do exactly as the officer says or they can kill you.  Think about what that implies and remember if you fight back you’ll be charged with assault.

When they do it, it’s merely law enforcement, even when force isn’t necessary.

State Sponsored Criminal: Andrew P. Murrill

Because when you’re a cop and you’re bored and someone doesn’t do exactly what you want, beat them to within an inch of their life.

SSCC Honorable Mention: Delaware County

A longtime Delaware County sheriff’s deputy is facing assault and reckless endangerment charges in Lehigh County after allegedly opening fire on his own car as the woman he lent it to attempted to flee, authorities said.

Gregory Todd Price, 53, of the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby, was arrested Tuesday by Allentown police and charged with one count of simple assault and three counts of recklessly endangering another person.

Remember though, the police are the only ones trained enough in the legal use of deadly force and the proper and safe handling of a firearm.

That man get’s a pass to carry a firearm, even in places other people who are licensed can’t.  Didn’t stop him from being an idiot though now did it.

I should probably strike the Honorable Mention from this considering he will probably resign to save face.  Never mind the fact anyone working in the private sector would get the boot from their employer in an event such as this.

State Sponsored Criminal (HM): Gregory Todd Price

Because cops get a free pass to threaten, intimidate, and deploy deadly force without cause.

SSCC #569: Minneapolis

A Minneapolis police SWAT team leader was convicted Saturday of assaulting a man while off-duty at a bar.

An Anoka County District Court jury decided that Sgt. David Clifford was not acting in self-defense when he punched Brian Vander Lee, 44, on June 16 at Tanners Station in Andover. Jurors found Clifford, 48, guilty of first-, third- and fifth-degree assault.

Hey at least he stood trial.  Though there has been no word about his job status after this incident.  He kept his job after the charges were filed, no word if the conviction changes that status.

State Sponsored Criminal #569: David Clifford

Because when you get drunk in a bar and kick someone’s ass, by all means you should keep your job even though you broke the law in doing so.

SSCC #552-#554: Pittsburgh

The injuries to the victim include a broken rib, chipped teeth, stitches across the face and a chunk of flesh missing from his tongue. The officers came up behind the victim pushed him down, and two of the officers held him down while the third continued to assault the victim.

My personal favorite is this quote from the police department:

Regarding the cell phone video and the body blows, police sources describe them as a compliance technique used by police officers attempting to handcuff suspects.

Umm, no, I’ve been taught compliance techniques and those were not that.  That was nothing more than a physical assault against someone they thought they could get away with.

Even more entertaining is this is a second incident among another one in the Pittsburgh area.  It’s a common thread when a department has problems like this, it’s usually more than just one or two officers but a systemic corruption within the police department.

State Sponsored Criminal #552: John Doe

#553: John Doe

#554: John Doe

Because when a kid is drunk, you basically get a free pass at utterly beating the crap out of him.  They likely wont remember it and you can make up whatever story you want.  Just remember, physically restraining someone and punching them in the face is a “compliance technique”.

SSCC #551 – Washougal

A Clark County District Court judge Wednesday convicted and sentenced a former Washougal police officer for attacking a mentally ill man restrained in the backseat of a police cruiser.

In a bench ruling, Judge Sonya Langsdorf convicted Robert E. Ritchie, 53, of fourth-degree assault for a July incident in which he twice punched 26-year-old Tyler Lampman in the face after taking the man into custody. Fourth-degree assault is a gross misdemeanor.

Initially I was going to make this an honorable mention, he was fired, convicted, although he had a lenient sentence.  Except I got to the end and saw that this man has had a history of not being able to control his monster.

It also wasn’t the first time Ritchie’s actions had come under fire for being too extreme.

He was demoted from sergeant in 2004 for shooting Olga Rybak 27 times with a stun gun for failing to comply with dog regulations.

When it comes to those on the count who do violent acts, I’ve found rarely is there a single incident.  Usually there is a history that the rest of us would refer to as “a clue”.

Because when someone starts acting out while restrained, beat their ass, they’re restrained, not you!

Yeah I saw a flurry on twitter and after that pile of horse crap, I did get involved.  The guy those is the classic case of Peterson Syndrome.

Best part is he kept saying self-defense was ok, but we shouldn’t kill anyone.  Tell me, what is the most effective method to stop an attacker.  As said before shooting someone merely starts a timer.  The shortest timer is smacking them in the face which is darn near instantaneous.  Center of mass causing massive blood loss is also quick, but also fatal.

Feel free to go pay that rapist supporting woman-hater a visit on twitter.  Remember though, supposedly it is me who hates women for wanting them to get training and empower them to be independent and fight off those who would do them harm.  He admitted he had never been raped but he is more than willing to force his morality and views on real victims.

He focuses on his dream “utopia” of training men not to rape as if evil is merely a learned trait.  Instead I teach women to defend themselves to make rapists lose interest and not want to harm women in general.  Too bad most rapists do it because of a control fixation.

Would it be great if evil didn’t exist, you bet your ass, but as long as we exist, the strong will attempt to prey upon the weak and I want the weak to have every advantage for their own survival at their disposal.

I can’t believe this crap, it makes me sick.  Doubly so since I constantly hear how I’m the problem with women’s rights and some how I cause a lack of respect towards women or endanger them.

Language Warning:

Why do I teach and encourage women people to get the tools and training to defend themselves?  Because FUCK rapists criminals that’s why.

*Evan Olcott, the internet is forever and your general hate and disrespect for women and rape victims shall be remembered forever you sick horrible excuse for a human being.

Quote of the Day – A Girl and Her Gun (2/26/2013)

Any time someone takes something from you or me, something you or I are not willing to give, it’s a crime and I am here to tell you, you and I have a RIGHT to fight back. Before, during, after, you and I have every right to stand up and say our life matters! I don’t know about you, but I will not lie down and let anyone, not the bad guy, not the anti-gunners, not the man in the White House, to tell my what my value is.

I am not the criminal and I will not allow anyone to punish me as such!
