SSCC #366 – Henrico County

A bereft Henrico County family says its son died near Cool Lane, robbed of his life and $15.

“He’d taken the bus up to my place to borrow the money last night; he just wanted a video or something,” said Henry Hamiel.

I already hear you asking how this could be a state sponsored criminal, it starts off as an everyday crime.  The police weren’t involved and were merely investigating the death.

The unidentified officer and a detective had arrived at the home to notify family members that Ellerbe had been killed. His body was discovered shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday, face down near an alley.

The pitbull ran from the backyard of the home toward at least one officer, who pulled his weapon and shot the dog in the home’s front yard, according to Ellerbe’s sister, Latoya.

“They had told me my brother was dead and I’d come out back to cry on the porch and Tiger must have heard them. He ran into the front yard and the officer shot him,” LaToya Ellerbe said.

Let me get this straight.  A young man was killed, over the money in his wallet. You travel to the home to inform the family, and then to add insult to injury, you shoot the young man’s dog.  You shoot his dog, YOU SHOOT HIS !@#$ING DOG.  (Stops and spends 5 minutes saying woosah, remember the pressure points).

What in the name of god were you thinking.  Maybe you should back off, yell up to the house, even try calling them on the phone.  This is the 21st century, you do have a phone don’t you?

No instead you walk up to the house, invading the dogs territory, you see it running at you, and assume it is going to attack you.  You then plug the dog with a couple new holes with a lead slinging instrument and then tell the family, “Your son’s dead. BAM BAM, oh was that his dog?  Yeah, you’re gonna need to bury him too.”

If I walk up to someone’s house and someone’s dog runs at me, I don’t just get to shoot it and claim self-defense, neither does the mailman.  So why do these people get a sudden free pass to shoot any dog they want.

State Sponsored Criminal #366: Officer John Doe*

Because the correct way to inform someone that their son is dead is by shooting the boy’s dog first.  Nothing say’s I’m sorry for your loss than killing the family pet.

Accountabilibuddyable–Indiana

Via Tam comes this story which I am doing instead of a SSCC today.

Authorities said Hubbard was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

He was arrested on charges of dealing while in possession of a handgun, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and dealing in marijuana.

So why was this an Accountabilibuddyable instead of an State Sponsored Criminal?  Tam said it best so I’ll quote her:

I guess their union isn’t as good as the FOP Local here in Indy, because his employers dropped him like a live grenade as soon as he was charged. Quis custodiet, indeed.

Yeah, I wish more departments would fire their officers immediately when busted for bad behavior.  Now let’s hope the legal system will continue the accountability string.

Officer Robert Hubbard – He’s so bad we had to hold him accountabilibuddyable!

Quote of the Day–Shepherd Derrial(7/9/2012)

A government is a body of people, usually, notably ungoverned.

Shepherd Derrial – Firefly: War Stories

[Couldn’t say it better myself.  For those who don’t understand, who governs the government?  Traditionally in our Republic, all were accountable under the same laws.  Our fearless leaders though have determined that they need one set of rules for them and another set of rules for their slaves constituents.

As the law no longer keeps our overlords in check, including their ability to write laws without any prescribed authority to allow them to legislate the topic.  Yeah, do you see where this is going? –B]

SSCC #358/#359–Chicago

He bashed Luis Cordero Jr. over the head with a revolver over and over, cursing all the while, according to Cordero, his girlfriend and witnesses.

Then it was Cordero’s girlfriend’s turn for terror.

“He put his gun in my mouth and said: ‘You better shut the f— up, bitch, or I’ll blow your brains out,’ ” the girlfriend, Heather Rzany, told the Chicago Sun-Times.

The man with the gun wasn’t a gangbanger, an angry relative or an armed robber.

He was an off-duty Chicago cop, far outside his Englewood district, getting involved in a noise complaint being handled by a private security guard on the Northwest Side, Cordero and Rzany allege. And now he’s being sued for brutality and investigated by the Independent Police Review Authority.

No worries though because this is in a place where despite Heller and McDonald it is still increasingly difficult to obtain a firearm.  So the probability of either of these citizens putting up a fight against this anointed tyrant was nil allowing him to operate without fear.

Now why would I put this in the sponsored count though?  Simple, because of the following:

The lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, accuses an on-duty officer who responded to the beating of letting Gofron walk away — and of failing to document his name, badge number and where he worked.

Yup, it’s handy when your buddies can try and cover for you.  Isn’t Chicago great?

State Sponsored Criminal #358: Chris Gofron

359: Jason Burg

Because being a cop means you can get drunk while carrying a gun and do what ever the hell you want.

I Don’t Think He’d Like How That Would Go Down…

Is this an open invitation to start doing what many others have been thinking?

“It’s not really up to the Supreme Court to second-guess the legitimate decision made by the elected representatives of the people, and if people want to change that law, they can do so by changing the legislators,” he said.

You know, I tried to change the legislator by the ballot box and soap box.  Are you saying I can remove a tyrant by any means necessary?

Seriously this doesn’t surprise me, it’s been the mortis operandi of the left for a very long time.  They don’t want a constitutional republic, they want a de facto democracy which they would twist into a dictatorship.  You see the law only applies to thee, not to me, in their own eyes.  The whole point of the system is that they must act within the law, and that includes only doing things they have the legal power to do.

They cannot just magically change the law to grant them new abilities and powers and it is the role of the Courts to restrain abuse by legislation.

If Representative Gerry Connolly would really like to retire the judicial branch.  I’m more than happy to take over the role of providing a check and balance.  A word of warning though, in such a case it would define him as a domestic enemy given his willful a wanton disrespect for the Constitution he has sworn to uphold and defend.  That clearly defines him as a domestic enemy.

If we take his want and claim as stated lets examine the following.  If the legislators can write laws as they see fit, and the courts cannot do anything about it, does that mean that congress could write a law repeating a US internment.? Not only could they, but it would be legal because they could replace the legislators who imprisoned them.  Oh wait, how would they be able to vote them out?

Listen here sparky, you might want to shut your mouth, because honestly it’s obvious exactly what you are and what needs to be done with rabid animals like you.  It’s just saying so would be considered a threat or some such.  I love this country more than anything and you sir are exactly what’s wrong with it.  I hope to solve the problem though the Soap and Ballot Box as I am currently trying to do currently.  There’s one last box remaining that exists for when all else has failed.

This also ignores the fact that if republicans controlled both house and senate along with the executive branch he would be clamoring how the courts are saving America.

SSCC #352–Dallas

The district attorney is considering criminal charges against a Dallas County sheriff’s deputy who resigned last week.

The Dallas Sheriff’s Department is reeling because Deputy James Yarbrough potentially put his fellow SWAT officers in grave danger when he told a man that they were coming to his business with a warrant.

So if you or I had discovered a raid was about to happen to a friend and we called to warn them, would the DA only be “considering” charges in that case?

Yeah I don’t think so either.

State Sponsored Criminal #352: James Yarbrough

Because tipping off your buddies to a “lawful” raid is perfectly acceptable if you’re “anointed”.

What is wrong with these people?

Merely a week after a crazed gunman shot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in the head and left several others dead and wounded at a local political event, a Tea Party spokesman in the same area received a public death threat at a town hall meeting– from one of Jared Loughner’s victims.

What made him think that this behavior was ok for him?  Just because you’re shot does not give you a license to go around threatening people who you disagree with.  Being shot also does not instantly make you any more credible as a source of information on any subject, other than what it feels like to get shot.

I’m sorry this individual was shot, however with the following information:

He has been profiled by CBS and has publicly blamed Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Sharron Angle for inciting the violence that caused the events of last Saturday.

It’s obvious his brain isn’t firing on all cylinders.  Crazy knows no political affiliation, it is the ultimate “bipartisan” issue.  I would suggest next time follow a longer cool down period.  I know I can be extremely hot headed, and I trust my friends to keep me in check.

Quote of the Day–Thomas Jefferson

“Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry.” –Thomas Jefferson

[Many are now arguing for laws against high capacity magazines.  However these same laws would have exemptions for the law enforcement and the military.  No, that is not proper behavior, as Joe said these people cannot have their cake and eat it too. –B]
