Sean Jang, a 4-year veteran of the department, was arrested Thursday after a scuffle with his ex-girlfriend.

Jang is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and false imprisonment, according to court documents.

Probably the most telling thing about this article was how it started with a statement that indicated this isn’t the first officer that has had issues in this department.  To then ice the cake though, he is merely on administrative duties while the department investigates.

It’s so good to see our city governments take such good care of their employees.  It’s not every day in this economy you see criminals get such wonderful treatment despite their behavior.
