Campbell says he did what he always does: flashed his lights on and off to warn drivers coming from the other direction that there was speed trap ahead.

According to Campbell, 60 seconds after passing the trooper, "They were on my tail and they pulled me over."

Ends up the statue used to issue the citation doesn’t mention or reference the use of high beams.  What we do have is a police officer who thinks that warning others about his speed trap should be illegal.  He thinks that it should be illegal so badly that he is ticketing people for it illegally.

The quick synopsis is, cop runs up with gun drawn.  He tells the owner to restrain the dog, and then fires 5 shots at the dog.  The icing on the cake, he pointed his weapon at the owner, and could have injured the owner due to proximity.

The dog hadn’t made any threatening actions and is just yet another example of the cops shooting mans best friend whenever possible.

This whole incident was entirely preventable by one very simple action.  The neighbor who called police could have just asked him to stop.

Phil Ray Gage, 40, was arrested on a complaint of disturbing the peace after a neighbor called police to report him for mowing a lawn at 2529 NW 33 at 4:30 a.m., Oklahoma City police said.

Yeah, it’s a bit odd to mow in my neighborhood that early, but he’s been doing it for 10 years.  I can not fault the person mowing the law as  he was doing it when he had available time and was avoiding the oppressive heat that is Oklahoma.

Seriously, if you have problem with your neighbors, just talk to them.  It’s the neighborly thing to do.  You might find out that they’re actually really nice people.  Don’t use the police and the force of government when a simple, “Hey, can you wait till later, we’re trying to sleep inside and we can hear the mower really well.  Thanks.”

That said, a neighbor that calls the police on me for something like that will forever hate me.  If you run to the police instead of talking to me I wont ever give you the time of day ever again.  Which around here also means most likely you’re shoveling the 6 feet of snow out of your driveway by yourself.

There is no reason one neighbor can’t talk to another.  It’s why we have vocal cords, you don’t have to run to the nanny state every time you think your neighbor is a problem.  Instead communicate and you might discover that he’s more than reasonable, and more than that, he might offer to mow your lawn too.

A veteran San Jose police officer with a history of alleged misconduct has been accused of molesting two teenage boys, authorities said.

Authorities accuse D’Arrigo, 44, of molesting the boys, ages 15 and 17, at his Gilroy home. Gilroy police apparently began investigating D’Arrigo two years ago, authorities said.

Supposedly this officer held parties at his house and liquored up kids from the school he was responsible for.  That’s right he’s a campus officer for a high school.  That’s where he found and groomed his victims.

An earlier investigation found evidence, and identified two victims, however in true SSCC fashion no charges were filed against the officer.  A witness has now allowed the DA to move forward.

To put the finishing icing on the cake though, he also helped cover up the DUI of a fellow officer in 2008.

Disturbing allegations in College Station after a Brazos County Deputy Constable was arrested for handcuffing and kidnapping a 19-year-old woman.

The good news is though they’ve only placed him on paid administrative leave.  He’s currently facing nothing at all despite the fact that she was never taken to jail, her friends don’t know what happened to her, and he placed her in the back of his cruiser.

The police have refused to state if she was sexually assaulted, I would say all signs point to yes.  The guy was off duty, “arrested” a woman, who then blacked out, and then ended up coming to in a gas station parking lot.  Seriously what about this says honest police officer?

He may have been off duty but it qualifies because he used his police cruiser, and he just as easily could have done this if he was on duty.

Don’t think of it as the federal government but as your “federal family.”

In a Category 4 torrent of official communications during the approach and aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has repeatedly used the phrase “federal family” when describing the Obama administration’s response to the storm.

News flash to those that are listening. The government is not my friend or family. It does not care about me. It is not there to help me. Government is FORCE.

Calling the government your family is like saying the neighborhood crack addict that steals your stuff is your brother. The definition of family is incompatible with government. A real friend or family member wouldn’t break into your house, shoot your dog, shoot you, and then say oops, wrong house.

Real friends and family help each other out when needed. The thing is it is a voluntary relationship. You don’t have to help out family, there is no requirement that you do so. What is voluntary about government? They take my money by force. They take my property by force. They conscript me into paying their debts. In the end they hold no responsibility or accountability for their actions either. I don’t get together with the feds and have a conversation with them. No, when that happens they’re interrogating me. A party at my house involving the feds, would involve a SWAT team, dead puppies, and an armed stand off.

Anyone who really thinks the government is a part of your extended family, wake the hell up and get your head examined. I’ve got a long list of how they’re not you’re friend and I’ve only been keeping track for a month thus far.

So I was listening to Vicious Circle today at work and evidently there was some research done that I entirely missed.

So on the way home from work today the wife an I start talking and evidently she was aware of this research.  Not only was she aware of it one of her instructors had known about the research and had extra information regarding the parts of the brain that shut down.  To just prove I’m not lying, here it is from a third party.

They found that 30 different parts of the brain light up with pleasure so strong that the nervous system begins to shut down—making it more difficult for a woman to feel pain, the Sun reports.

So while in the car the wife goes on to say:

“The pain centers in the brain shutdown.  As they shutdown current discomfort and pain is relieved, although temporary it is relieved.  Even headaches.”

At which point my ever logical engineering brain flew into action and the conversation continued like this:

Me: So in other words Dr. Joe’s cure all is a cure for the headache.

Her: Yes.

Me: So it’s confirmed women are lying about having a headache to avoid sex.  Cause if it was true, properly applied sex would relieve the headache.

Her: Well my headache was gone after last night so what’s that tell you.

Me: The Lt. was right when she said women were evil and liars.

So there’s a testimonial proving Dr. Joe’s cure all, plus the scientific evidence to back it up.  If your wife has a headache, do the right thing, make her scream for joy.

I’m so getting thrown on the couch for this post.  It’s just too damn funny not to share though.

When the judge dismissed the criminal charges against Maryanne Godboldo – he called the child removal order that sparked the case unconstitutional. As the Action News Investigators first showed you – the order to remove Godboldo’s child from her home was never actually reviewed by a judge.

This process is called rubber-stamping – where probation officers – NOT judges — are literally stamping a judge’s signature onto the orders used to take children away from their parents. That means in Wayne County — a judge is not looking at the evidence in a case before a child is removed – and court experts say that’s illegal – and it has got to stop.

Judge didn’t sign the warrant.  Mother was acting in the best interests of her child when the medication worsened her child’s condition.  The order for the removal of the child was contradictory.  The list continues but you get the point.

Ultimately the whole thing was illegal, yet not a single individual involved in the attack against Mrs. Godboldo will be held accountable.  The lack of accountability is a problem.  Even bigger though is I don’t see how to easily change it.  It’s not as if our masters are going to vote to sacrifice their own immunity.  It is up to the people to hold them accountable and obviously voting the bastards out isn’t enough always.  Other remaining options are not exactly legal, however would be quite effective in making sure it never happened again.

My hope is that one day, the men responsible for crimes such is that will be held accountable for their actions.  Whether it be by tar and feathers, tree and rope, or just run out of town on a rail, they must pay for what they have done to their countrymen.
