So Providence in an effort to take care of some of their budget woes is looking at dismissing all of their teachers at the end of this school year.  As a result the teachers union is up in arms and is trying to win support by using this wonderful statement.

“This is beyond insane,” Providence Teachers Union President Steve Smith said Tuesday night. “Let’s create the most chaos and the highest level of anxiety in a district where teachers are already under unbelievable stress. Now I know how the United States State Department felt on Dec. 7 , 1941.” That was the day the Japanese government bombed Pearl Harbor.

How does the dismissal of the teachers compare to an act of war that resulted in the deaths of 2350 people?  How does this even relate?  Chaos and anxiety, war is controlled chaos, and why would the State Department be anxious?

To those who still haven’t figured out what the core issue is yet, the output is greater than the input and has created a budget crisis.  This deficit has been created by the inflated wages that public employees are paid.  These inflated wages have been created by the unions and their control over public services.  These wages are also considerably higher than they should considering the extensive resources now available for educating your children.  It doesn’t fit the bill that many people want for the educational system, baby sitter, but a good education requires the participation of the parents.  Education is full time, not just the hours while they’re at school.  Honestly I probably learned more at home than I ever did in school.

So there wont be public schools anymore to indoctrinate your kids into socialist thinking.  Instead private enterprise will create schools that far excel the current public standard.  Mr. Smith, the real reason you’re upset is because the American public are seeing you for what you are, a leech sucking on the wallet of the American tax payer.

So a Massachusetts Democrat came out today and made probably the dumbest statement he possibly could have.

Sometimes it’s necessary to get out on the streets and "get a little bloody," a Massachusetts Democrat said Tuesday in reference to labor battles in Wisconsin.

The Democrat’s are worried that their free gravy train is possibly coming to an end.  Unions are nothing more than mandatory democrat donation collectors.  When you consider that their numbers are dropping, that unions have fewer members than ever, and the American people are now seeing the unions for what they are.  With all of this happening, the Democrat’s are worried about how they are going to get their funding for future elections.

What we’re seeing now is their fear, they know it’s coming to an end if they can’t get the public to believe their lies again.  Well if they can’t get the lies to be believed, all they have left is violence.

A restaurant in Sea-Tac airport will no longer serve TSA agents.

She says that whenever a TSA agent attempts to dine at the restaurant, "we turn our backs and completely ignore them, and tell them to leave… Their kind aren’t welcomed in our establishment."

May this beginning of a new trend, even better would be TSA agents quitting their job because they realize their excuse of “I’m just doing my job,” doesn’t actually matter.

Any man who is willing to violate the rights of his fellow man because it’s his job is unworthy freedom and liberty. There are those who are principled and are will to do the right thing even when it hurts, then there’s the TSA. Many Nazi’s claimed they were just doing their job during the Holocaust. Pardon me if I don’t feel sympathy for them.

Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada called Tuesday for the state’s brothel industry to be outlawed, saying Nevada’s connection with prostitution harmed its image and could damage its ability to bring in investment.

He’s taking one of the best parts about Nevada and trying to destroy it.  Of course he does this just after getting reelected for another six years.  He’s probably hoping that the serfs voters will forget by the time he’s up for reelection. 

It’s yet another example of the government sticking it’s head where it doesn’t freaking belong.  The thought of a business owner refusing to locate a business there because something is legal bugs the hell out of me.  What would you call someone who refused to open a business in an area because they allowed gay marriage.  Who cares, you aren’t being forced to use the brothel, but you have no business telling others how to live their lives.

The people complaining that the tax payers of their state should continue to pay through the nose for pay and benefits aren’t doing a good job.

Two-thirds of the eighth graders in Wisconsin public schools cannot read proficiently according to the U.S. Department of Education, despite the fact that Wisconsin spends more per pupil in its public schools than any other state in the Midwest.

There are no repercussions for their failure to educate their students.  If one is punished for not doing their job, the union will step in to protect them.  Many unions make contracts that require all new employees to join the union, despite their personal beliefs or feelings.  Others don’t even ask, they just want the employment and don’t care.   Some don’t see the moral issues created by unions.

TMW is now having to fight again because it ends up that the exception her boss was informed about was only for religious reasons.  He is currently working on making sure she is exempted.  This incident however has now restoked the fire in the tinderbox to destroy this forced political contribution for doing a job.  Unions are nothing more than parasites that live on the work of others.

It is so nice when then New York times actually provides us ammunition to use against gun control. 

Getting a handgun legally in New York is a two-step process. First, applicants must obtain a license, which costs $340, takes about 12 weeks to process, is good for three years and requires a background check by the New York Police Department. In addition, fingerprinting costs about $100.

Those who pass that hurdle then must get a purchase authorization from the police for the particular weapon they intend to buy. One handgun license may list up to 25 weapons (so far, no one has tried to register more than that, officials said), but buyers must wait 90 days between purchases.

So it costs $440 dollars for the ability to ask the New York police department, “Can I purchase this gun?”.  Many, especially in these harder economic times, do not have the disposable income to spend $440 on a weapons permit, especially given the cost of living in New York.

Continuing on through the article they provide a nice list of prominent names that have weapons permits.  Of the entire population of New York City, only 4,000 have permits that allow them to carry a concealed weapon.  That’s 0.0477% of the population of New York.

Compare that to Washington State, where in 2007 there were 258,000 permits, coming to a ratio of 3.9%.

The government can discriminate against who it issues permits to, and lower class individuals are prevented from owning firearms due to the high costs of licensing. 

This also completely disregards the fact that New York released the names of permit holders to the public. While they may have withheld street address, it still provides a shopping list for criminals.

It ends up that there is a animal problem in a high school in Louisiana.

Attempts to rid McDonogh 35 High School of bats that have been flying around the third floor are being hampered due to the fact that officials have been told these bats are an endangered species and can’t be exterminated.

Some people seriously lack the ability to think.  The bats present a health hazard to the students and those working in the building.  I’m sure if it wasn’t a public school, OSHA would be breathing down their necks to get money.  Think about that for a second, one agency would require their expedient removal for health and safety, the other would fine them for removing the animals improperly. 

Overall this environmental crap has gotten out of control, the health and well being of people come first.  Especially since it’s not as if the bats were nested there as we colonized America, the school didn’t even exist yet.  Maybe the winged vermin are on the endangered species list because they made some poor habitat choices, including picking a home where a two legged predator lives.

So the TSA today actually harassed a US Representative from Alaska to the point she’s returning home by boat instead of by plane. 

An Alaska state lawmaker is making her way back to the state Capitol after refusing a pat-down search at a Seattle airport, a spokeswoman said.

While our congress critters should be put through this same mess that the rest of us are.  However one should always be sure to never bite the hand that feeds you.  Most likely though our all knowing leaders will just exempt themselves from this hassle while they ensure their serfs constituents are continually abused.  It just another example how every incident involving TSA starts with “The Stupid Asshole”.

Later I discovered an undercover TSA agent showed just how much of A Security Theater the TSA is. 

The source said the undercover agent carried a pistol in her undergarments when she put the body scanners to the test. The officer successfully made it through the airport’s body scanners every time she tried, the source said.

(Emphasis mine).  She tried this multiple times and never failed.  Joe Huffman talked about his experiences with an X-ray machine in  an episode of BB&Gun’s.  The fact is the TSA can be thought of as defensive fortifications.  Tactics and strategies will be formed to get around these defensive fortifications, and because of this they will always be playing catch-up.  The fact is the TSA has never stopped anyone, and the people they abuse are the ones who’s lives are actually in jeopardy and will be the ones to actually stop an incident.

With all the criminals the TSA hires, the way they behave, and their total lack of effectiveness why haven’t our congress critters rendered them impotent?
