For some reason I just can’t get any flow tonight and I’m not sure how well it’s going to work this weekend. Sunday I will probably have something up. In the mean time here’s what I saw out my front window last summer on a frequent basis.
We’re moving into June now and I’ll start seeing and hearing them more often. They are an absolute blast to watch in action. Those guys are seriously nuts.
This is one of the upsides to living in BFE in the middle of farm country. You never see this in the city.

I’m headed to a car show this weekend and I’ll probably do some playing there and see what I can create.
Even small towns give birth to heroes. When was the last time you went and found a local hero you knew nothing about? Maybe today you should since you probably have the day off. Remember them and their families. They made the ultimate sacrifice in hopes you wouldn’t have to.

Some of the guys are very into brewing cider, how serious you ask?
They are currently working on what tastes best. The hope is eventually to move towards small commercial sales to local restaurants, but currently it’s a hobby amongst friends. The experiment in the barrel the wife said tasted pretty good last week when we were there for a party.
Some at Boomershoot feel like shooting irons for an extra challenge. Last year Lyle nailed an IPSC @580 with this Mosin Nagant last year and Dan picked off a boomer @400 this year.
Solid principals means any rifle can do in a pinch.
