Clayton Keith Dovel Update: SSCC #251 – TSA

Here is an update on the incident with Clayton Keith Dovel.

Clayton Keith Dovel, 36, of Bedford, Texas, was sentenced by state District Judge Sharen Wilson to three years’ deferred-adjudication probation, which means that he will not have a conviction on his record if he completes the probation without incident.

Think about that for a second, Clayton Dovel knowingly and willfully abused his position and victimized the American people and for his crimes his record will remain clean.  He took the job and used it specifically for his own personal financial gain and got caught.

Dovel paid restitution of $4,746, split among six victims whose iPads were stolen as they traveled through DFW Airport. The restitution was paid before the guilty plea as part of a deal with prosecutors.

So Clayton Dovel had to pay out to replace the stolen property.  His biggest mistake here was that he got caught and that is exactly what this punishment is.  You got caught son, so pay back what you stole, stay clean for 3 years and then feel free to try again.

There is a reason there are pedophiles, thieves, and other predators working for the TSA.  No one is punishing them.  The TSA “zero tolerance” policy is a huge joke, doubly so when after committing a crime the rest of the legal system breaks down on holding them accountable.

So given the above, lets ask another question, why do we need them when we also have incidents like the following?

The TSA’s bungling reached a new low yesterday when a JFK Airport terminal had to be evacuated and hundreds of passengers marched back through security screening all because one dimwitted agent failed to realize his metal detector had been unplugged, sources told The Post.

At least they caught their mistake, but you mean to tell me that absolutely no one that got through security got on a plane and took off before the mistake was noticed?  The TSA is A Security Theater, period, no exceptions.  They do absolutely nothing to increase security and their effect is purely a placebo for sheep too trusting to understand how futile the TSA’s efforts are.

Clayton Dovel is nothing more than a shining example of why the TSA should have been disbanded yesterday.  Doubly so since our legal system and government is doing nothing to limit the power of these tyrannical blue handed goons.

Quote of the Day–Linoge (06/24/2012)

“Honor” and “integrity” are not what you do when everyone is watching; they are what you do when no one is looking. Our government and those who represent us within it seem to have forgotten that, but apparently the American people, by and large, have not.

Linogewhat is it worth to you?

SSCC #337 – TSA

You would think that given all the previous incidents of child molestation by the TSA would mean they would filter this guy out.

Until 2002, Harkins was a Catholic priest working at churches across
South Jersey. But the Diocese of Camden removed him from ministry
because it found he sexually abused two young girls. Now, in a new
lawsuit, a third woman is claiming she also is one of Harkins’ victims.

Evidently not.

The security checkpoint between Terminals D and E is a busy place where
thousands of people – including lots of kids – pass through every day.
But you might not believe who the I-Team observed working as a TSA
supervisor at that checkpoint this week: Thomas Harkins.

That’s right folks.  He was hired by the TSA and given free reign to molest your little daughters without legal recourse.  Is anyone though not surprised by this?  This to me is expected.

State Sponsored Criminal #337:  Thomas Harkins

Because when the church kicks you out for molesting little girls, go talk to your Uncle Sam.  After he puts his hands in your pocket you can put your hands in that little girls pocket!

This one is just all sorts of fail.   The article leads off with this.

A security supervisor at Newark Liberty International Airport accused of stealing the identity of a murdered Queens man two decades ago began using the victim’s identification three weeks before he was killed, officials said today.

To which I said, well he hadn’t done anything illegal until after hiring maybe?  Nah I didn’t really think that, though the following did actually surprise me.

The supervisor, Bimbo Olumuyiwa Oyewole, 55, of Elizabeth, a Nigerian immigrant living in the United States illegally, is accused of using the birth certificate and Social Security number for Jerry Thompson, who was shot and killed in Queens on July 20, 1992.

Emphasis mine.  That’s right folks, our fearless leaders in the department of homeland security who claim to be doing everything in their power to protect us from those dangerous terrorists couldn’t even find someone using the identity of a dead man.  They couldn’t find someone who was violating the law and walked up to them and asked for a job.  It almost makes you think that they don’t bother vetting these miscreants before letting them rape and pillage the populace.

Oh wait, they don’t.  That’s why you have pedophiles working for them.  That’s why you have thieves working for them.  It is where criminals go to have the state protect them.

Because proper background checks and rectal exams are for people who want to fly, not for the people doing the checking!

Never Listen to the High School Dropout

This made me all sorts of angry:

Savannah Barry is mad and on a mission. She wants travelers to be warned
before they walk through TSA security. “They need to get with the
program and have some education across the board for TSA.” After
participating in a DECA conference in Salt Lake City with several
classmates last week, Savannah, who is a type one diabetic and wears an
insulin pump 24 hours a day, says she ran into TSA agents who were not
prepared to deal with her medical situation. “I went up to the lady and I
said, I am a type one diabetic. I wear an insulin pump. I showed her
the pump. I said, what do you want me to do? I usually do a pat down –
what would you recommend?”

Savannah then showed agents a doctor’s
note explaining that the sensitive insulin pump should not go through
the body scanner. She says she was told to go through it anyway. “When
someone in a position of authority tells you it is – you think that its
right. So, I said, Are you sure I can go through with the pump? It’s not
going to hurt the pump? And she said no, no you’re fine.”

I won’t fault the girl here.  She has probably been told over and over to trust the government and do what you’re told.  She has been drilled to the point where she ignored what her doctor said and did what a high school drop out that was too stupid to get a job anyplace else said.

Unsurprisingly it destroyed her insulin pump.  Walking into one of those things with electronic equipment is down right dangerous.  Ionizing radiation can cause single event upsets in the control systems of the medical equipment.  Non-ionizing radiation can have the effect of an EMP causing excessive voltages in circuits.  If the device is improperly shielded it will destroy components.  Memory devices can also suffer a single event upset.

I don’t know which of these incidents occurred, my suspicion is the second.  I will say this girl is very lucky she is not dead or hospitalized as a SEU could have resulted in an excess or incorrect dosage being administered.  Usually devices can survive one safely, however multiple failures were probably induced simultaneously

This is an expensive lesson and one that everyone needs to heed.  Those who work for the TSA are the lowest common denominator of our society.  That’s why it’s full of child molesters, sexual deviants, and thieves.  One should not do what they say blindly or without forethought.  Remember these people do not care about you or what happens to you.  If they could they’d just treat you like cattle more than they already do.

As I’ve said before, make their lives hell.  Sure some will be too stupid to understand but eventually you’ll wear them down.  On that same note, as you see those responsible for bringing this plague upon us, make their lives hell as well.  They are elected representatives and obviously they failed at their job.

Burning effigies should work nicely.

SSCC Honorable Mention–TSA

They just can’t stay off this thing now can they?  Not surprising since it was their actions that caused me to create it.

When I made a similar FOIA request in 2008, I assumed the TSA would respond in a few months. Government agencies have about a month to respond to public record requests, though they often take longer. I figured even if their response took months, I’d be able to repeat it regularly to get a timely, inside look as to what passengers were complaining about and find out about incidents that required some more digging.

Boy, was I wrong.

After waiting and waiting and narrowing my request and some more waiting, the files finally arrived this week.

The information is now four years old — but it echoes much of what people are still complaining about.

Now why would they withhold information for 4 years I hear you cry.  There’s a couple reasons.

  • Statute of limitations.
  • Hoping people forget.
  • Hoping for winds of change.
  • People involved are promoted away from the incident.

The bottom line is they don’t want the public and certainly not anyone critical of them to find out about the complaints.  There’s definitely a reason why given how often their employees are in the count.

Honorable Mention: The TSA

Because we need to do everything we can to protect our employees from the people they molest and abuse.

“The agent was very aggressive in his pat-down, and he was patting me down where no one is supposed to go,” said Canseco.  “It got very uncomfortable so I moved his hand away.  That stopped everything and brought in supervisors and everyone else.”

It’s never a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you.

State Sponsored Criminal Count 319: San Antonio TSA

Because the TSA is so god like they can abuse anyone now and get away with it.

Omer Petti, 95, said he believes an airport employee stole the cash that he was told to remove from his pocket and place in a bin on his way through security on March 29. He and his girlfriend, Madge Woodward, 85, were headed home after a family vacation in Palm Springs.

This doesn’t surprise me one bit.  While some would say yeah right, it’s a great way to rip people off if they listen to you.

State Sponsored Criminal Count 318: San Diego TSA

Because being a TSA agent means that many people will think that what you tell them to do is a good idea.  Then you take their stuff while your buddy molests them.
