QotD Joe Huffman – 01052011

But what really makes me smile is it is hundreds of miles from the nearest major airport with the nearest stop light nearly 40 miles away. Yet, almost for certain, Boomershoot has a bigger turn out that any Brady Campaign event. — Joe Huffman

People come to Boomershoot from all over. I drive an 1.5 hours every day for the 4 days I help from where I live. One of these years I’ll break down and just camp. It just further begs the question though, what do the Anti Gunners have to offer?

And may I take a moment to say how much I hate Garageband? It was nothing but a huge crash and fail fest trying to edit this 6 hour disaster. I will never forgive you for Garageband, Apple. Never.

I know, I know. You’re sitting at home and you’re scratching your head and you’re saying why in this age of enlightenment is it still necessary to blast these beautiful creatures out of the sky and the answer is simple. Responsible hunting has always been a part of responsible conservation. Plus they taste really good. – Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs (Collection 5 Episode 2 Goose Down Plucker)

Hunters are the biggest contributors to conservation, yet the Liberals think hunting and the tools used are a bad thing.

As Barron put it, Mike Rowe actually got something out of his Eagle Scout unlike Michael Bloomberg.

“Your enemy is never a villain in his own eyes. Keep this in mind, it may offer a way to make him your friend. If not, you can kill him without hate–and quickly.” R.A.Heinlein

[I find this generally good advice for conduct throughout different areas. –B]
