TSA Employees…

They’re not hired because they’re bright, intelligent, or honest.

TSA air marshal Adam Marshall was arrested by the Boston police department at 3:50 a.m. on Dec. 10 after he allegedly argued with members of Occupy, called some of them prostitutes, struck one of Occupy’s organizers and main tweeters in the face, grabbed her iPhone and then fled.

You know, I dislike the Occupy movement more than just about anyone.  That said, I’m not going to support anyone who goes in there, assaults people, and steals private property, even if I dislike the victim group.

He did it because, “I’m a TSA agent and work for the DHS, I’m invincible.”  Yeah, the TSA better fire his ass, and they better prosecute him to the full extent of the law.  If not I’m moving this one to the count.

*I do find it funny that all these people who bitch about how poor they are have 600 dollar phones with expensive service plans.

**It’s not in the count because he wasn’t on duty and currently he does not appear to be benefiting from his job.

SSCC #239–San Francisco

This one requires some knowledge as to why this one heads to the count.

Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi faces one count each of domestic violence battery, child endangerment and dissuading a witness, San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon said Friday.

Now, he’s actually facing charges and it seems on par for what happened, so why would I put him in the count?  Well he’s been fighting back against the NRA lawsuits brought after Heller and McDonald.

“Oh, absolutely not,” Mirkarimi assured us. “If you think about it, with all the legislative action and focus that I’ve been applying since becoming a supervisor on gun violence and public safety, it’s completely consistent.” (OK, that last part was definitely a plug for his sheriff’s candidacy.)

Well if Mr. Mirkarimi was a Mayor he would fit right in the the Mayors Against Illegal Guns.  So lets go back to this DV incident.

Gascon said prosecutors have also requested an emergency protective order prohibiting Mirkarimi from having contact with his wife and son. He is also ordered to stay away from his home while police investigate other possible domestic violence incidents involving Mirkarimi and Lopez, Gascon said.

Well normally the Lautenberg Amendment would mean that he would have no access to firearms.  Except as the Chief of Police, he can still carry one while on the job.  Double standard anyone?  The icing on the cake though, he was sworn in as chief after the incident.

State Sponsored Criminal Count 239: Ross Mirkarimi

Because only the police should have guns, that way they can walk without fear and impunity.

SSCC #238–Seattle PD

Seattle can’t make it one week without getting in the count.

The footage shows two dock workers waiting for work get handcuffed. One is hit with a Taser, and both are arrested by police just because the passenger "lips off" to police.

KOMO News uncovered what the American Civil Liberties Union calls a classic case of "contempt of cop." This type of contact, which starts off as a minor stop and quickly escalates to use of force and arrests, is at the heart of what critics say is wrong with Seattle police.

Don’t worry though.  The officers are protected under qualified immunity.  Go read it, all I have to say is I’m hating the Seattle PD more and more.  I thought I couldn’t hate them anymore, but they keep proving me wrong.  Especially since all they did was give him a reprimand.

State Sponsored Criminal Count 238: John Doe*

Because contempt of cop is punishable by a beating and a Taser.

*If you find his name, tell me.

In Which Ladd Shows He’s a Sniveling Coward

Earlier this week I wrote a post on how I know I’m doing a good job.  Well Ladd to make sure his responses were harder to notice updated his article.  As always he twists words and moves things out of context.

On his blog, TMM added that those who participated in the vigils “are faster on the draw than a personal injury lawyer to dance in blood.”

What I actually said was:

This coming from a group [CSGV] of individuals who circle around like vultures and are faster on the draw than a personal injury lawyer to dance in blood.  When ever there is a shooting the gun grabbers waste no time to attempt to levy the situation for their political gain.  See Virginia Tech and the recent Mount Rainier shooting for examples.  They do not care about the people, they care about their political ends.  Don’t believe me, look at the blood dancing they did in Tuscon while the family that lost their daughter was saying the exact opposite.

That comments was also a direct response to Ladd saying my comments were inappropriate, I added the italics to help illustrate who the subject was from the previous sentence.  I never said anything about people participating in the vigils dancing in blood.  I am saying that those doing it for political means as a heart string are dancing in blood.  The organizations who organized it and are upset that the gun community expanded the effort to include all victims of violence.  Not just the fixed metric of gun violence.

What I find most telling though is that there are no comments allowed on the CSGV blog website.  Updates like the above are hidden and not mentioned.  Basically the only way to discover changes like that is to reread the entire article.  It’s his site, he can do whatever he wants.  I would point out though that I have open comments, the only thing I delete is spam, personal threats, and things that just are noy acceptable in decent society.  I’m more than willing to argue, I even have open comments and user ratings on my video.  Lets look at those stats shall we?image

Lets look at the most popular video for Too Many Victims from the opposite view point.

image

Oh snap, note the Brady video was shown on Calguns.  So now comes the question, how many of those views were from the pro-rights side of this debate.  No option for likes or dislikes so it’s hard to tell how many people liked this video.

image

Well, this one was linked by the HuffPost and still only got 1204 views.  Even if you combine the two Brady videos, which have been out for a total of 5 weeks between the two, we got 3 times as many hits in 5 days.

The fact is the Brady Campaign and the CSGV are blood dancers.  They capitalize on the suffering of others to promote their political agenda.  When someone dies, they will use it to promote their agenda no matter what.  Even if it means defending an armed robber.  They will blame changes in legislation that would have had no effect on the incident.  They want to exclude victims of non-gun violence because it doesn’t further their agenda.  They then attack us because our stated goal is to make fewer victims.  Our goal is to arm people with the tools and knowledge to not be a victim.  They are upset with that because with fewer victims there is less blood for them to dance in.

Quote of the Day–Robb Allen (01/13/2012)

Numbers don’t mean as much as the blogger’s personal reputation with his or her readers.

Robb AllanThat’s a Nice Grouping You Have There

[I saw it when Uncle posted it earlier today.  My immediate thought was of the recent Ocean Marketing fiascoWizardPC pulls some numbers on the person complaining.  Ultimately the blogosphere is now proceeding to nail his ass to a wall.  Since it’s already in process, why would I bother to comment?

Well that quote above is just too damn good to let slip by.  There are some folks, as Robb said, who have done some pretty nasty things to the community.  Just because you have a limited readership doesn’t mean you don’t have influence.  I have a small readership, and those of you who read, thank you.  Even though it’s small, I do know that many of those who read also listen.

I try to remain in my comfort area where I’m knowledgeable and I strive to avoid ruffling feathers or “stomping on peoples junk” as I like to call it.  The bottom line is I subscribe to a few philosophies that make me listened to.

First, Integrity once lost cannot be regained.  No matter how hard I try, once I’ve done the damage I can never completely undo it.

Second:  I try to make sure that when I speak I have something to say.  If people are spending the time to read what I write, by god I better give them something for their time.

So just because you have 1000 readers doesn’t make you the be all end all.  Just the same just because you have 50 readers a day doesn’t mean that you’re a nobody with 0 impact.  Fact is if those 50 readers carry significant weight you’re single placed marking round will land an artillery barrage right on target. –B]

Watch this….

Then watch this…

Now I go all JayG on this shit.

Uhh, no dumb ass, what you’re doing is teaching kids is that when you forget something or inadvertently do something you will be severely punished for it.  That kid could have just left the knife in his bag, buried, for the rest of the day and not gotten in trouble.  What dumb ass planet are you from!?  In what !@#$ing world does any of your statement make logical sense.

You acknowledge it was an accident, he brought it to the attention of the instructors, and you punish him to show the school is safe.

News flash dumbass, the people you have to worry about aren’t telling teachers they have weapons.  They just carry them and you never find out about them.

Oh by the way, I carried a knife every day through school from about 7th grade on.  Guess what dip shit, that knife never stabbed anyone.  Just the same my gun just doesn’t magically hop out of its holster and stab people.

Dear fucking god, what the hell is wrong with these people.  You know they say those who can, do, and those who can’t teach.  Well obviously this guy couldn’t understand logic if it was beating him to death with a hammer.  The dumb is most certainly strong with this one.

SSCC/ICHH–Two For One Combo, Denver

More than 500 people were wrongly imprisoned in Denver’s jails over seven years, with some spending weeks incarcerated or pleading guilty to crimes they did not commit before authorities realized they nabbed the wrong person, a federal court filing shows.

Many would like to think that the system wouldn’t punish or hold the innocent but the fact of the matter is, it isn’t perfect.  Personally I feel on erring on the side of the innocent.  To punish the innocent is absolutely unforgivable.  Letting some bad people slip through the cracks is the price we pay for protecting the innocent.

When you see horrible mistakes such as the following there is no excuse for law enforcement other than laziness.

  • Warrant is for a female, defendant is male
  • Wrong finger prints
  • Wrong person entered the plea
  • Wrong person paid the fine under duress

You have to think, what the hell are these bums doing for a living?

Yes it can happen to you!

A Security Theater – Veteran Edition

I was sitting across from a Marine tonight and the subject of the TSA came up.  He had this to say.

Nothing confused me or pissed me off more when flying home and we switched to a commercial charter flight off of a military transport.  They went through and made all of us throw away our lighters.  We still had our M16’s and bayonets, but those lighters were mighty dangerous, especially since we could use them to take over the plane.

The saddest thing was, he was dead serious.  Flying back they made everyone toss their lighters for “security reasons”.
