SSCC #549 – Chicago

Chicago police shot a store owner 11 times after armed gunmen robbed him, then handcuffed him to his hospital bed and harassed him to cover up their “gross misconduct,” the businessman claims in court.

No wonder the power that be are fighting so hard to keep their peasants disarmed.  With negligence like that it’s no wonder they hate the idea of their constituents being armed.  Especially with this follow on:

“Plaintiff was shot and seriously wounded with 11 bullets to his hands, shoulder, legs, and hips. One bullet almost his plaintiff’s head but it passed by plaintiff’s head and hit the cash register. Plaintiff was bleeding profusely. Aruri was very scared and thought that plaintiff would die. Aruri ran to get something to wrap plaintiff’s leg because it was shooting blood everywhere. The police ran into the store and the plaintiff lying down in a pool of blood asked them, in an extremely weak state, why they shot the owner. The police did not answer, did [not] give any care, and they stopped Aruri from even touching Abdelal and providing care.

Yup, shoot an innocent and then refuse to allow them immediate treatment.  Don’t worry though, it wont be those responsible who pay, it will be the tax payers of Chicago.

State Sponsored Criminal #549: The Chicago PD

Because when you shoot an innocent, notify your department and have their detectives harass and intimidate the victim in the hospital.  Remember you’re the cop and you’re invincible.

SSCC #548 – Las Vegas

An officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is now on paid administrative leave, after being recorded during a traffic stop.

The YouTube video, which has gotten thousands of views, shows the officer react angrily after rear-ending a motorcycle. It happened near Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane.

Below is the video of the incident.

I’m sure that officer and Officer Roid Rage would get along great.  Mr. Officer, you were following too closely if you couldn’t stop before hitting the bike.  Maybe next time you should respect the dangers that riders have from cagers like you.*

State Sponsored Criminal #548: John Doe

Because when you’re a cop and following too closely and it results in an accident, blame the guy in front who was trying to not be run over.

*It’s the behavior of cagers that really makes me not want to ride motorcycles.

SSCC #545-#546 – Cleveland

A federal jury awarded $13.2 million to a former housing authority security officer Friday after finding two Cleveland detectives fabricated or withheld evidence at his 2000 murder trial.

David Ayers, 56, who spent 11 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, and several jurors wept as the verdict against detectives Denise Kovach and Michael Cipo was read in U.S. District Court.

Eleven years of is life lost all because of the actions of two officers.  Remember though, these men should be trusted implicitly and considered to be anything other than human and capable of error.

Even better though is since the city is self insured, tax payers are footing the bill for the negligence of those two officers.

State Sponsored Criminal #545: Denise Kovach

#546: Michael Cipo

Because when your gut says someone did it, don’t bother doing your job, you can control the inputs to the system to satisfy your gut.  Innocence be damned!

SSCC #543-#544: Logan County

The Logan County Commission has settled a woman’s lawsuit alleging two deputy sheriffs not only falsely arrested her, but also played a role in setting fire to her house and car in retaliation for complaints she made about their conduct.

U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver on Feb. 24, 2011, ordered the dismissal of Brenda Williamson’s civil rights suit against the commission and deputies Jeffrey Robinette and Matthew Carter after the sides announced they reached a settlement. The terms were not disclosed in court records.

While the county’s insurance carrier is picking up the bill, ultimately the tax payers pay in higher insurance rates.  Not to mention why the officer got upset to begin with.

One officer left on his own, a second still remains hired by the department.

State Sponsored Criminal #543: Jeffrey Robinette

#544: Matthew Carter

Because when someone has their own surveillance system on their house, physically assault them, beat them, and then when they file a complaint attempt to burn them to death and vandalize the property.

SSCC #542 – Springdale

A Springdale police officer has pleaded guilty to depriving a handcuffed man of his civil rights by using a stun gun.

Prosecutors said 31-year-old Mark E. Thom pleaded guilty Friday. Plea documents said Thom beat and used a stun gun on a handcuffed man in Dec. 2011.

Honestly the taser has done nothing but aid in the use of excessive force by lazy police officers.  As usual the department drug its feet letting the criminal resign to save face.  Unsurprisingly, there is also a previous history of corruption with this officer too.

State Sponsored Criminal #542: Mark E. Thom

Because by all means when someone’s handcuffed use a taser on them.  Nothing says do as I say like interrupting their central nervous system.

SSCC #541 – Markham

Just a month after a bank robber compared him to the corrupt cop played by Denzel Washington in the movie “Training Day,” Markham’s former deputy police chief has been accused by the feds of sexual abuse.

But the attorney representing controversial cop Tony DeBois says the charge smells like political payback from dirty officers DeBois blew the whistle on.

With that second section I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.  Then I saw the following.

During a 17-year law enforcement career with the Chicago Housing Authority police, Harvey Police and Markham, he has been named in at least 15 civil lawsuits that allege he used excessive force or illegal means while on the job. Many have been settled.

Where I’m from we call that type of record a clue.  It’s been shown over and over again that rarely are offenders like this one off instances.  They show a long pattern of abuse.

State Sponsored Criminal #541: Deputy Police Chief Tony DeBois

Because when someone keeps having charges filed against him alleging abuse and resulting in settlements costing taxpayers dollars, that means the tax payers are just getting their due.

SSCC #539-#540: Miami

Malinsky Bazile, a young Miami police officer, pocketed about $140,000 over the past two years — but not in salary for his patrol duties, authorities say.

While on duty, Bazile ran the names of more than 1,000 people in the state driver’s license database, according to a criminal complaint. Then he took their personal information and filed bogus federal income-tax returns, all to score stolen refunds.

Remember though they need all that information to do their job and it couldn’t possibly be used for wrong.  Seriously those two took identity theft to a whole new level where honestly there’s no way to stop it.

Welcome to the world of the police state.  Where the police can ruin your life whenever they want and you are left to clean up the mess.

State Sponsored Criminal #539: Malinsky Bazile

#540: Vital Frederick

Because ultimately being a police officer means that you can rob and ruin the life of whoever you want merely because of the information available at your fingertips.*

*If you don’t know what I’m talking about.  The IRS has ruined the lives of victims of this type of identity theft.

SSCC #538 – Charlotte

A Charlotte probation officer is being accused of sexually assaulting one of his probationers at an office building last Thursday.

According to police, David Francis, 48, met with the victim last Thursday at his office in the 5700 block of Executive Center Drive. The victim told authorities that Francis sexually assaulted her there. Francis met with investigators after the accusation was made and following the interview was arrested by CMPD.

How’s that for working the system.  Give me what I want or I send you back to prison   Luckily she had the balls to speak up, how many others could he get to cower?

State Sponsored Criminal #538: David Francis

Because sometimes your position just naturally makes it so the girl just can’t say no, that is unless she wants to go back to jail.
