SSCC #211 – Gulfport MI

A police department spokesman has confirmed a citizen complaint that an officer shot a pit bull, chained in its yard, while narcotics officers executed a search warrant on 20th Street Monday afternoon.

See, evidently this cop felt that confinement wasn’t enough for his personal safety.  As always they shot the dog, properly restrained or not.  Why is this a criminal count though?  Well had anyone else done this it would be classified as animal cruelty given the dog was restrained and as such no reasonable person would have a reason to fear for their life.  Not to mention this little fact.

Turner said she was visiting her mother’s home and she and her 3-year-old daughter were about three feet from the dog when an officer aimed his gun at the Spook, a 3-year-old dog the family has had since he was a puppy.

Sounds like the officer was bored and wanted to shock and awe.

State Sponsored Criminal Count 211:  John Doe

Because shooting dogs is what you do when you want to kill something and when it’s chained it’s like shooting fish in a barrel since no justification is required.

Quote of the Day – A Girl and Her Gun (12/15/2011)

This blog has very accurately chronicled my journey and with the help of my friends, family, my internal will and “these” gun people, I am no longer a terrified woman unable to function.

I am happy again. I am more secure in my own skin than I have been.

(Emphasis mine)

A Girl and Her GunSomeone Doesn’t Like Me

[Seriously go read the whole thing.  What has the anti rights crowed ever offered a woman in the same position?  What does the Brady Bunch, CSGV, and the rest of them offer this woman to allow her to gain her life back.

Gunnies reach out and help, many of us have seen that terror ourselves first hand or in the eyes of someone we know and care for.  Even if we haven’t, we have the empathy when we see it to know it could just as easily be someone we know.  We thrive off of empowering people to be the masters of their own destiny.  Empowering them to say no with with such conviction as to preserve their own lives as well that of any possible future victim.

Find me a single instance where any of the gun grabbers have produced a result like the above.  The anti rights cultists aren’t for stopping violence, they thrive on it.  It’s how they peddle their lies and push their legislation that would serve to disarm us and prevent us from living free but in fear.  Their goals are to destroy the freedom and comfort that people like A Girl and Her Gun have found after being an actual victim of violence.

As I said in her comments, stories such as this fill me with joy.  While I’m sad for her trauma, I’m glad that our community, as it so often does, provided her safety and comfort while training her how to live free after discovering a wolf in the pack. -B]

SSCC #210 – Caddo TX

The Caddo police chief turned himself in Tuesday on an embezzlement charge that was filed after authorities said he took a firearm from the department’s evidence room.

So what exactly did he do entirely?

An affidavit by OSBI Agent Donnie Long states Glover removed a Ruger .44 magnum from the evidence room and traded it to a man for a Taurus 9 mm pistol.

Best part is, the owner of the firearm in the evidence locker was entitled to it’s return. This was nothing more than theft of property, a firearm no less, by a state charged with protecting it while in his possession.

Remember, the anti-rights crowd consider these people “anointed” and would say this wouldn’t have been a problem if people couldn’t own firearms to begin with.  Never mind the fact that the chief himself committed the crime.

Because if you’re a cop looking for a new gun, just visit the evidence locker.

SSCC #209 – Manalapan NJ

Andrew J. Adell, 30, a six-year veteran of the Manalapan Police Department, admitted in court Monday that he was driving drunk on March 6 in his 2004 Jeep when he attempted to make a right turn onto South Street in Colts Neck before veering off the highway and colliding head-on with a 2003 Ford driven by Robert Felix, 40, of Keansburg, according to testimony offered to state Superior Court Judge Francis P. DeStefano.

How nice of them to just force him to resign his post instead of just firing his ass.  He admitted to being twice above the legal limit, and he even hit someone resulting in severe bodily harm.  The fact they didn’t fire him still allows him the ability to find a job some place else.  It appears that the assault by auto charge is a misdemeanor offense in New Jersey meaning he’s not hit by the costs that come with a felony.

He’s been given a second chance by his department by not just firing his ass and putting that black mark on his record.  How many non-leo civilians would get that type of second chance?

State Sponsored Criminal Count 209: Andrew J. Adell

Because when you are twice the legal limit and run over a pedestrian you shouldn’t be fired.  Instead you can resign to go work some place else.

Quote of the Day – Ian Harrison (12/13/2011)

Since then, a lot of water has passed under the bridge. In 1997, politicians in the country of my birth chose to vilify law-abiding gun owners as a means to appease the press and get themselves re-elected. As a result of the legislation passed, all legitimate handgun owners were forced to hand over legally held pistols and revolvers, or face up to 10 years in jail. There were a fair number of Brits who, rather than live in a country that would treat its citizens as serfs, chose to jump ship. My wife and I joined them, landing in upstate New York where we settled down to build our own version of the classic immigrant story.

Ian Harrison – Top Shot Winner Becomes U.S. Citizen

[I don’t watch Top Shot.  Not for the fact I dislike the idea, I love the idea and how it normalizes the shooting sports.  I don’t watch it because I don’t watch a lot of TV and of the TV I do watch I could care less about the drama llama that is reality TV.  I do however absolutely love what can be observed from the quote above.

This man was forcibly disarmed by the country he defended and decided that country no longer deserved his citizenship.  That is the power of gun control.  It causes people to flee, yet you don’t see American’s fleeing to Great Britain due to their low crime rates and gun control.

Welcome Mr. Harrison to you and your wife.  You obviously are in the right circles and find yourself in good company here.  -B]

SSCC #208 – Canton OH

This guy was probably buddies with Officer Roid Rage
given it’s the exact same department so color me not shocked on this one folks.

Michael Reese, 42, was arraigned Friday in Municipal Court on one count of domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor. Reese pleaded not guilty and was released after signing a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

What exactly is it thought that he supposedly did though according to the charges?

Reese struck the woman in the back of the head during an argument Sept. 21, according to the court records. Reese also reportedly grabbed the woman’s arm and swung her into a door frame, causing injury to her head and neck area. Reese also pushed the woman over a dining room chair and kicked her several times in the leg, according to court records.

I’m sure this numb nut went home and slept like a baby.  With this incident they at least suspended the officer, however given the history of the department as well as the local political officials
I know why he slept like a baby.  Unless he’s actually convicted where the Lautenberg Amendment
will come into play he’s probably still going to have a job come morning.

State Sponsored Criminal Count #208: Michael Reese

Because when your woman pisses you off the proper response is to beat the crap out of her since nothing will happen to you.  If another officer can threaten to shoot someone and harass them why would anything happen to you?  Especially when he’s on video in three separate instances.

Unpossible – TSA Violated Policy

More from our best and brightest that is our TSA.

In response to ongoing criticism for removing the back brace from an elderly woman who claims Transportation Security Agency (TSA) officers strip-searched her an airport, the TSA issued a “clarification” about their position on the incidents, claiming — contrary to an earlier TSA statement — that the woman’s back brace was removed because the security personnel thought it was a “money belt.”

Is anyone really surprised by this incident?  We have given a much of power hungry uneducated morons the power to force anyone to do anything.  Refusal can result in the revocation of your rights and being detained on arbitrary charges that center around you not being a good little sheep.

My favorite line though from the TSA was this which shows exactly what they think about this incident.

The TSA denied that any strip-search ever took place, adding that they “truly regret that these passengers feel they had a bad screening experience.”

Note they refuse to admit the agents did anything wrong in the handling of these customers. Even though they admit that back braces are not supposed to be removed yet the agents can do no wrong.  The agents violated policy and didn’t correct their behavior upon noticing the error.  Yet these women should perceive their experiences as negative despite the TSA agents screwing up?

You know, I keep telling myself that actually going after these people isn’t worth it. The behavior of both the agency and the agents though is beginning to make me think that liberal applications of both tar and feathers is required at all levels. Seriously.
