About TMM

TMM is the owner, editor, and principal author at The Minuteman, a competitive shooter, and staff member for Boomershoot. Even in his free time he’s merging his love and knowledge of computers and technology with his love of firearms. Many know his private name and information however due to the current political climate, many are distancing themselves due to the abandonment of Due Process.

Quote of the Day–Kurt Hoffman (05/06/2011)

Perhaps, though, this kind of thinking explains CSGV’s insistence on referring to "our democracy" with such regularity, rather than acknowledging that our nation is a republic. Promoting the notion that we live in a society where the majority rules, meaning that 51% can legitimately vote away the fundamental human rights of the other 49%, fits right into CSGV’s agenda, especially when coupled with the VPC’s latest theme, of gun owners as a minority.

Kurt Hoffman, Down the Memory Hole with @CSGV

[One of my pet peeves is referring to our government as a Democracy.  We are a Constitutional Republic, a democracy is nothing more than mob rule.  A republic is supposed to prevent one group from controlling the other protecting minorities in the process.

As I have said previously there are certain rights that do not require recognition from the government.  Not only that, some rights may not be voted away or removed from the people.  Many of these though were specifically enumerated by the framers of the constitution to provide them extra protection.  The CSGV and Brady Campaign believe they’re in the majority, yet event after event is showing they are anything but.

The CSGV and Brady Campaign are waging a war of manipulation.  Just look at CSGV’s name, who could be for “Gun Violence”?  Just the same, they manipulate people into believing that we have a democracy instead of a republic.  Ultimately representatives should be representing all of their constituents and protecting their rights, even the one’s who didn’t vote for them. –B]

Friday Gun Porn (05/06/2011)

Every Friday I’ll try and post up some gun p0rn.  Either new toys I got to play with, toys seen at Boomershoot, or anything else that falls under “gun p0rn”.The guys who made the bowling ball mortars had some slick looking rifles out as I walked by during lunch.DSC_0352

It’s a Beautiful thing

While gun grabbers have problems just raising money to fight their own battles on this side of the fence is a different story.

Last year I posted a comment regarding a story from SebastianJoe just reported the donation to Soldier’s Angels from the Boomershoot dinner.

Not only have most of the people in that room probably donated to the NRA, CCRKBA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, or any of the other pro-rights organizations but they then turned around and shelled out more donations for our boy’s in uniform.

As Joe points out that donation was bigger than what was brought in from the raffle as Gene and another participant gave Joe extra money asking absolutely nothing in return.

The other side is still trying to show us as heartless idiotic redneck cannibals.  Yet the evidence shows that is anything but true.  Not only do we support our rights that we hold dear, we donate money to help those who need it more than we do.

A big thank you to Bruce for organizing the dinner and a thanks to Joe for putting the whole event on.

Gun Walker about to go Nuclear

So the ATF personally handed weapons across the border, including NFA weapons?

In a second, equally explosive disclosure, a law enforcement source tells Fox News, that ATF undercover agents were acting as the straw buyers and purchasing guns using government-issued false identifications and then providing those guns to cartel traffickers to gain credibility in their undercover roles. In that capacity, the ATF "provided 2, 50 cal. machine guns to traffickers that are loose in Mexico and unaccounted for," the source said.

I would like to point out that they sent weapons knowingly into Mexico and then magically lost the hardware.  This is pure conjecture however I would NOT be surprised to hear that agents received private cash payouts from cartels as part of this investigation.  What better way to smuggle equipment across a border than to have a government aiding and abetting.

Then after shoving all these weapons over the border the ATF then says that straw purchasing is a serious problem and a long gun registry needs to be created.  This whole thing smacks of an engineered plot to achieve political goals by committing crimes and then blaming the law abiding.  Every agent who broke the law while operating on an “investigation” should be prosecuted under the law.  Just because you are an LEO doesn’t exempt you from following the law.  If anything you should be held to a higher accountability.

As Dave Hardy said:

While opinions may vary, I’ve always thought that undercover operations should stop short of committing acts of war.

Quote of the Day–Porretto(05/4/2011)

GUN CONTROL: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own pantyhose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

-Francis W. Porretto, (Comment on British gun control is sexist)

[I find that the majority of the gun grabbers feel morally superior to call 911 and have a police officer shoot their attacker.  The thing is, the attacker will most likely have killed you prior to the police arriving.  I know the person above didn’t coin the above, but it bears repeating.

Some would rather die than defend themselves.  Many of those would like to disarm those of us who would.  Their claim is security and safety.  How is safety increased when you are disarmed to be at the mercy of your attacker.  I’d rather die while fighting for my life than groveling at someone else’s feet to let me keep it.  -B]

Issa and Chaffetz Grill Holder

My only hope is this anger is real and they find every person who is responsible and hold them accountable.

The video of Issa nailing Holder to a wall.  Issa did a wonderful job nailing Holder.

Here is Jason Chaffetz.

One of these days I’ll probably write up a nice post with all the info I have.  Every time I start trying to make a post on this I feel my blood start to boil.  The amount of negligence and how it was being manipulated to destroy the rights of law abiding American’s is staggering.

In Which Ry Cooks Bacon

So Ry saw someone cook bacon on their MG-42 barrel and had a bright idea.  His suppressor gets scorching hot, why not cook bacon on that.  So the games began.

I was up at the line when Ry actually fried the bacon up.  Thankfully Rolf and AntiTango got pictures.

It didn’t cook all the way through but that never stopped anyone from enjoying bacon.

Thanks for the extra bacon Ry, it was delicious.

2011 Boomershoot Fireball Stills

This fireball was epic, it has created a flurry of traffic.  Rolf was kind enough to send me the pictures he took and I have uploaded them into my photo gallery.  The fireball stills start here (look at the bottom).  I’m posting the best images though in this post.
